Job summary

SLR Consulting Americas in Ontario seeks an Environmental Project Manager (Intermediate) to lead contaminated sites assessment and remediation projects across ON, including Power, Energy, Infrastructure, Mining, and Built Environment sectors. You will design work programs, prepare proposals, mentor staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams under senior professionals.

Based in Guelph, Toronto, Markham or Ottawa with flexible work options; a strong track record in site investigations,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Strong background in environmental site assessment and remediation.
• Knowledge of provincial (O.Reg. 153 and O.Reg. 406) and federal (CCME) environmental regulations.
• PFAS sampling or project management experience an asset.
• Degree in environmental science, engineering, or geosciences.
• Professional status or eligibility for professional status.
• Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle for travel to job sites/clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage contaminated sites projects from site investigations to remediation.
• Coordinate field staff and subcontractors.
• Engage senior team members to develop work plans and execute projects.
• Analyze environmental data and prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure service delivery.
• Contribute to proposals and business development.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring of staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate findings.
• Address challenging project issues with curiosity.
