Teck is seeking a Senior Engineer Supervisor, Projects to lead the end-to-end delivery of the D Model Relife Project and coordinate all mine-life extension truck purchases. You will act as the single accountable lead for mobile asset capital projects and rebuild programs, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance while coordinating with operations, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out of the D Model Relife Project.
• Coordinate mine life extension truck purchases from specification through delivery, commissioning, and handover.
• Act as the single point of accountability for assigned mobile asset capital projects and rebuild programs.
• Develop and maintain project charters, detailed schedules, capital budgets, cash flow forecasts, and risk registers.
• Define and control project scope, ensuring effective change management for scope, cost, and schedule impacts.
• Develop integrated schedules that align mobile asset builds and truck deliveries with production and maintenance requirements.
• Manage capital and operating budgets, including cost forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting.
• Lead contractor and OEM selection, onboarding, and performance management, ensuring contracts clearly define deliverables, timelines, quality, and safety expectations.
• Ensure procurement timelines for trucks, rebuild components, and mobile asset parts align with project execution requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with site safety standards, regulatory requirements, engineering standards, and capital governance processes.
• Coordinate with Reliability and Asset Health teams to embed maintainability, life cycle cost optimization, and failure prevention strategies into project design.
• Ensure structured commissioning, testing, documentation, and readiness prior to operational handover, including maintenance strategies, PM programs, spares lists, OEM documentation, and CMMS integration.
• Provide clear progress updates, financial forecasts, KPI tracking, and risk reporting to senior leadership, proactively escalating emerging risks.
