Job summary

Teck's Trail Operations is seeking a Project Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary studies and oversee major maintenance, demolition and capital projects. You will develop scope, budgeting, scheduling and execution within the project framework while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance and Finance teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, eligibility for EGBC registration, and at least 5 years in industrial project management, with strong communication and MS Office

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Facilitation skills and ability to collaborate across multiple groups.
• Registration with EGBC is a condition of employment or eligibility confirmed.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering studies and improvement initiatives.
• Manage a portfolio of major maintenance, demolition and capital projects including scope, budget, schedule and execution.
• Conduct equipment condition assessments and asset life evaluations to identify risks and improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Metallurgy, Projects, Shutdowns, Finance and Business Planning teams.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project performance, risks and progress.
