Job summary

Teck Resources Limited, based in downtown Vancouver, seeks a seasoned Program Planner for Legacy Properties Group. You will oversee portfolio planning, scheduling, forecasting, and resource management across closed mine sites in Canada, the United States, and Western Australia, ensuring projects align with Teck's policies and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in executing mining projects is highly regarded.
• Civil trade certificate, diploma in a relevant technical field, or equivalent technical and operational experience.
• 10+ years of experience in project planning, program planning, operational planning, or portfolio management within the mining industry.
• 5+ years of experience in an Owner’s role is required.
• 3+ years of field experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, maintenance, and management of the Legacy portfolio plan across sites.
• Facilitate integrated planning sessions with site and project managers to align priorities, resources, and schedules.
• Develop practical, executable plans and schedules aligned with site objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and manage schedule risks, constraints, and dependencies to support portfolio execution.
• Coordinate planning and prioritization to align work programs with strategic objectives and budgets.
• Manage allocation of project management and technical resources across Legacy sites.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for operational and project work.
