Marshall Canada is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Systems Engineering in Ottawa, ON. Reporting to the Head of Engineering Functions, this leadership role involves overseeing systems engineering practices to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of products and solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the adoption of best-in-class systems engineering practices and industry standards.
  • Providing visionary leadership and mentorship to the Systems Engineering Team.
  • Developing strategic plans to embed effective systems engineering processes.
  • Offering technical guidance and collaborating across teams to integrate engineering solutions.
  • Managing resources, budgets, and stakeholder communication effectively.
  • Establishing KPIs and quality assurance processes for systems engineering.
  • Monitoring industry trends and managing risks proactively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • At least 8 years of systems engineering experience, including 3+ years in leadership.
  • Possession or eligibility for a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license.
  • Proven leadership, technical expertise, and communication skills.
  • Experience in regulated industries is desirable.
  • Certifications such as PMP or INCOSE are advantageous.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel as needed.
