Job summary
Canada Packers Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering to lead the Brandon facility's engineering function and manage a diverse portfolio of capital projects from feasibility to handover.
You will guide scope, budgets, and timelines, ensuring safe and on-budget execution in a busy manufacturing environment. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required; P.Eng preferred.
- Eight+ years in engineering and capital project delivery; leadership experience.
- Experience in food manufacturing or protein processing is an asset.
- Strong cost estimating and business-case development skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead Brandon capital program delivery on scope, time and budget.
- Apply Canada Packers project management standards with stage gates and controls.
- Sequence projects around production, shutdowns and seasonal demand.
- Lead commissioning, validation and start-up with rapid stabilization and handover to operations.
- Manage safety, access and quality of contractor work.
