Job summary
Ice River Sustainable Solutions is hiring a Manager, Capital Projects to lead planning and execution of industrial equipment installations, facility upgrades and major capital programs across Canada. The role combines project leadership with hands-on mechanical work on the plant floor, collaborating with millwrights, electricians, technicians and contractors.
You will manage projects from concept to handover, travel regularly to facilities nationwide, and be based in Feversham, Ontario with
Qualifications
- 7+ years in industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, equipment installation and commissioning.
- Experience leading capital projects with practical plant-floor involvement.
- Millwright background or similar technical role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Responsibilities
- Lead capital projects from site assessment through installation, commissioning and handover.
- Develop scopes, budgets, schedules, and implementation plans.
- Coordinate with trades, contractors, suppliers and maintenance teams.
- Oversee shutdowns, relocations and start-ups across Canada.
- Ensure safety, quality and operational readiness of installations.
