Myticas Consulting Inc. seeks a Senior Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer to design, implement and test firmware for advanced embedded optical systems in Ottawa, Ontario. This is a one-year contract.

You will work with RTOS or embedded Linux, develop drivers, memory management and interrupts, and collaborate with test teams to validate software against requirements. The ideal candidate has a BS/MS in CS or related field, 3+ years of embedded experience, strong C++, Python, and familiarity with

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field with embedded software development experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong C++ programming skills in embedded contexts
• Experience with RTOS or embedded Linux concepts (interrupts, drivers, memory management)

Responsabilités

• Implement and test firmware for next-generation embedded optical platforms
• Understand and analyze software requirements and translate into designs and code
• Develop and test code that meets software requirements
• Work with RTOS or embedded Linux updates and configuration including interrupts, drivers and memory management
• Review test plans proposed by test teams
• Debug and resolve issues reported by test teams and customers
