General Motors of Canada is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Developer for Low Voltage Power Distribution Controls and Diagnostics. You will deliver high-quality embedded software for power management, diagnostics, and vehicle integration.

You’ll work with an agile team, apply MISRA guidelines, and ensure safety compliance while leveraging modern development practices and automotive interfaces.

Formación

• BS in Engineering – Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or CS.
• Minimum 5 years embedded controls software experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming.
• Strong system design and control background for embedded software.
• ISO26262 automotive safety experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop high-quality software for low voltage power management embedded controls systems.
• Lead software design content and fix software anomalies.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, regulations, and MISRA guidelines.
• Design and implement physics and controls for mechatronic systems and diagnostics strategies.
• Familiar with Ethernet, CAN, LIN, ARXML, and automotive communications.
• Use CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for development and deployment.
• Collaborate with agile scrum teams and other departments.
