Job summary

General Motors Canada is seeking a Staff Engineer of Software Engineering, Embedded Platform, to lead CI/CD for embedded and simulation workloads. You will architect enterprise-scale pipelines, define quality gates, and drive GitOps delivery across multi-cluster Kubernetes environments.

The role requires deep real-time software architecture knowledge, Terraform/IaC expertise, and experience with AWS/Azure/GCP. Hybrid work in Markham or Oshawa with strong leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent experience.
• 15 years of experience in software development.
• Deep understanding of software architecture for real time systems.
• Experience shipping high quality safety critical products.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
