Job summary

Barton Malow Canada is seeking an Electrical Estimator to lead cost estimation for large industrial and renewable energy construction projects. You will review drawings, prepare bid packages, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate proposals.

Requires 8+ years of experience, knowledge of EPC and Design-Build, and a degree or journeyman certification with estimating experience. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction estimating experience on large renewable energy projects.
• Proficient in EPC, Design-Build, and integrated project delivery models.
• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or Journeyperson Electrician certification with estimating experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of conceptual, detailed, and final estimates for renewable energy projects.
• Review drawings, specs, and contract documents for electrical scope.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and pricing strategies.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier solicitation and bid leveling.
• Coordinate with operations, management, engineering and leadership on pricing strategies.
• Support proposal development with technical narratives and commercial submissions.
• Mentor junior estimators and improve estimating processes.
