Energy Network Services Inc. seeks a Master Electrician/electrical estimator to lead material take-offs, BOMs, and competitive bid packages for commercial, industrial, and institutional energy projects across Canada.

The role blends field electrical knowledge with digital estimating, requiring proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Accubid, and Excel, with willingness to travel for site visits and out-of-town work.

Qualifications

• Must hold a 309A Master Electrician (Construction & Maintenance License).
• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, CET preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of electrical estimating experience; 2+ years field installation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform material take-offs, BOMs, and detailed cost estimations from engineering specs and drawings.
• Coordinate price packages with suppliers, distributors, subcontractors, and designers.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and substitute cost-effective lighting fixtures and controls.
• Prepare comprehensive bid packages including materials, equipment, labor, and subcontract costs for turnkey projects.
• Review estimates with Project Managers and assist in transitioning bids to execution phase.
• Attend site visits, analyze tender documents, and draft RFIs.
• Oversee 1-3 electricians and apprentices on site as needed.
• Maintain estimating data, track bids, and communicate updates to leadership.
• Support business development with technical inputs for new customer generation.
