Western Pacific Enterprises, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimation for commercial and industrial electrical projects. The role emphasizes winning bids, developing estimating databases, and mentoring junior staff.

The candidate will prepare labor and material estimates, review documents, and coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate takes-offs and compliant proposals, contributing to profitable project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction estimating experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar.
• Knowledgeable of current local and Canadian electrical Code (CEC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete labor and material cost estimates.
• Outline and prepare responses to RFP's and RFQ's.
• Develop strategies for being awarded projects.
• Mentor Estimators and Estimator Trainees.
• Coordinate with Project Management and maintain bid logs.
• Prepare bills of material for Purchasing.
• Follow SOPs for Estimating.
• Assist with bid package preparation.
• Participate in estimate reviews with stakeholders.
