Job summary

Western Pacific Enterprises, Ltd. (WPE) is seeking an Estimator II to support cost estimates for electrical construction projects across western Canada.

The role focuses on preparing labor and material costs, collaborating with management, and ensuring accurate, competitive bids for large-scale electrical work. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of estimating experience, a related engineering degree, and strong skills in MS Office and estimating software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of estimating experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete labor and material cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project management; prepare bills of material for purchasing.
• Determine constructability via field walk-downs with customer and crew.
• Review project documents for accuracy and data entry.
• Perform field take-offs/evaluations for estimates and support change orders.
• Track costs and assist with invoicing and cost controls.
