We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator in Vaughan, ON. The role involves preparing and submitting tender prices, maintaining pricing records, and supporting project acquisition efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs and input data into estimating systems.
• Compile all estimate elements including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Prepare, review, and submit bid documents ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Gather labor breakdown data for budgeting and project management.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Participate in site visits, pre-bid, and post-bid meetings.
• Collaborate with project teams on estimating and planning.
• Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
• Review project schematics to strategize submission approaches.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Post-secondary diploma in electrical or construction technology; CET or ENG is an asset.
• Experience in electrical contracting or industry certifications like Certified Quantity Surveyor or Construction Estimator.
• Proficiency in Trimble Accubid Anywhere, Livecount, Bluebeam.
• Strong communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.
