Job summary

TYLin is a globally recognized, full-service infrastructure consulting firm seeking an Electrical/Process Engineer to join our Water Sector team in Ontario. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• P.Eng license in Ontario required.
• 8–10+ years of experience in water/wastewater or industrial process facilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Schneider, GE, Ignition, Wonderware).
• Experience with field startup and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop single-line diagrams, load calculations, panel schedules, and power distribution designs for low- and medium-voltage systems.
• Design and specify instrumentation and control (I&C) systems including flow, pressure, level, sensors, and control valves.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot SCADA systems, PLCs, HMIs, and networks.
• Prepare P&IDs, control narratives, I/O lists, and functional descriptions for treatment processes.
• Support process evaluations, equipment selection, and system optimization for water/wastewater facilities.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and process engineers for integrated facility design.
• Provide field support including startup, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, ISA, and local utility requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, cost estimates, and construction documents.
• Participate in client meetings and design reviews.
