You will lead electrical design for HV/MV substations, specify equipment, develop standards, and prepare tender packages. Requires 10+ years in heavy industry and P.E.O. eligibility. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience as an instrumentation and control engineer in heavy industry.
• Registered with P.E.O. as a P.Eng or eligible within the next year.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical, communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical design for HV/MV substations, overhead lines, LV/ELV distribution.
• Perform equipment sizing for transformers, generators, MCCs, UPS, cables and more.
• Develop and improve engineering standards and guidelines.
