Job Description

Our GTA and / or Waterloo offices are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Property & Buildings to join the Design Services Group. The Electrical Engineer will work on various projects, including new installations, upgrades, testing, commissioning, and construction support, focusing on low voltage power distribution, motor control, electrical protection, standby power, and more, across commercial, residential, healthcare, municipal, and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities include leading proposal writing, managing client relations, project management, mentoring staff, preparing detailed design packages, ensuring compliance with electrical standards, and coordinating with other disciplines.

Skills and Qualifications

• B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
• Registered member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario
• At least 15 years of experience in MV and LV electrical systems
• Experience with healthcare, commercial, residential, municipal projects
• Leadership experience and client management skills
• Knowledge of Canadian electrical codes and standards
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• P.Eng. license (Ontario or other provinces), PMP, G class driver’s license are assets
