Job summary

TBC Fabrication is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to the development and optimization of electrical systems in a modular prefabrication setting. You will ensure performance, safety, and compliance of electrical installations in modular units and production equipment.

You will perform load calculations, design room layouts, and develop distribution diagrams while ensuring all designs meet CSA safety standards and OIQ requirements.

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical safety standards in manufacturing (CSA).
• OIQ membership is required or preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and solve complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical load calculations and size equipment to meet project requirements.
• Design layout of mechanical and electrical rooms and arrange equipment and circuits.
• Develop electrical distribution diagrams for efficient and safe power distribution.
• Identify, analyze and select components and suppliers based on specs.
• Review and approve drawings and technical documents; sign and seal per OIQ.
