Job summary

Ironwood Modular Solutions is seeking a motivated Electrician Apprentice to join our electrical team at our new state-of-the-art modular manufacturing facility. You will work under an Electrician Supervisor, reading blueprints and testing electrical systems in residential modular homes.

This role offers year-round employment in a controlled environment, competitive apprentice wages based on experience, and a benefits package including RRSP contributions and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a residential construction electrician.
• Completion of first and second year in-school apprenticeship training.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, controls, and installation practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Need to be self-driven.
• High attention to detail and workmanship.
• Physically able to perform job duties.

The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical theory and hands-on experience and will work under an Electrician Supervisor. This role involves installing and testing electrical systems in residential modular homes. We offer year-round employment in a controlled environment, a company pension plan & full benefits, an overtime top-up of $3/hr, and a minimum of 3 weeks paid vacation.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems in electrical circuits
