Your Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with the engineering team. Your main responsibilities include:

1. Leading electrical design and project management for systems such as power, lighting, communications, and security in various building types.
2. Engaging with clients, contractors, and suppliers to promote the firm positively.
3. Providing guidance and feedback within project teams.
4. Developing and monitoring electrical design strategies for sustainable construction.
5. Building relationships with clients, industry partners, and project personnel.
6. Managing client relationships and project delivery across all project phases.
7. Meeting with clients to discuss project progress and resolve issues.
8. Preparing engineering specifications, drawings, estimates, and project documentation.
9. Ensuring compliance with standards and project criteria.
10. Developing practice standards for electrical engineering.
11. Preparing reports, proposals, and bids.
12. Handling project approvals and permits with agencies.
13. Estimating, scheduling, procurement, and resource management.
14. Promoting health and safety standards.

Your Profile

1. Electrical Engineering Degree from a recognized university.
2. Immediate eligibility for P.Eng. registration.
3. Minimum of 10 years’ experience.
4. LEED accreditation and sustainability experience are assets.
5. Experience with AGI32, SKM PowerTools, Autocad, BIM.
6. Valid driver’s license.
7. Excellent communication skills and report writing.
8. Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete projects independently and in teams.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
10. Commitment to occupational health and safety.
