Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Designer to lead CAD-based system designs for nuclear projects in Ontario and beyond. You will coordinate deliverables, review designs for accuracy, and guide junior designers while maintaining schedule and budget expectations.

Applicants should bring 10+ years of mechanical design experience, strong CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) and familiarity with relevant standards. A hybrid work culture and broad project exposure are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in mechanical design and drafting.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and related CAD tools.
• Familiar with IEEE/IEC/CEC/CSA standards is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level design of plots and layouts using CAD (2D/3D).
• Review design deliverables for accuracy and consistency.
• Identify issues early; manage schedule and budget.
• Coordinate scope changes with project teams.
• Mentor and develop others' CAD skills.
