Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. is seeking a Junior Civil Designer to support nuclear projects across Ontario and beyond.

You will contribute to the design, modification and coordination of civil systems for new builds, refurbishments and operation support, using CAD tools on fast-paced projects. The role requires a college diploma with at least two years of mechanical design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation and SolidWorks, and a collaborative mindset to work with

Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent with minimum 2 years in mechanical design and drafting.
• Strong CAD knowledge and ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Familiarity with nuclear industry standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents in AutoCAD and MicroStation; 3D modeling where required.
• Follow client file management systems for document storage.
• Prepare deliverables for nuclear and conventional systems per QA programs.
• Apply codes, standards and regulatory requirements and coordinate with the design team.
• Interface with engineering teams throughout the design lifecycle.
• Work in a team environment and promote a positive workplace.
