The position requires a bachelor's in electrical engineering, 5+ years of experience, and familiarity with certification bodies and safety standards (UL, CSA, IEC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• P.Eng designation strongly desired.
• 5+ years of experience leading electrical systems development.
• Experience with certification bodies and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with insulation coordination and arc flash analysis.
• Experience with formal product development processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design for next-gen flow battery.
• Regulatory compliance and certification planning throughout product lifecycle.
• Develop electrical system architecture and wiring harnesses.
• Perform safety calculations and DFMEA/risk assessments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and QA programs.
• Mentor junior engineers; travel up to 10%.
