The Learning Circle Childcare Centres is seeking a Senior Educator/Manager for the Infant Toddler class at the Abbotsford Campus. The role involves overseeing daily classroom operations and coordinating a team to ensure a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 1–3.

Full-time position with hours 7:30 am–5:30 pm. Wage ranges are $22–$24 per hour plus BC Wage Enhancement; benefits include health coverage and career development opportunities. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Early Childhood Educator and Infant Toddler License.
• Emergency Childcare First Aid certificate per BC license regulations.
• 1–3 years of Infant Toddler teaching experience.
• At least 3 years as an Early Childhood Educator.
• Experience managing staff and using a computer.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Infant Toddler classroom.
• Supervise staff, trainees, and volunteers.
• Assist in onboarding and training new employees.

Position Description

The Learning Circle Childcare Centres is a mixed early education provider committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment that supports the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our students from ages 12 months to 12 years. We are currently seeking a full‑time Senior Educator to manage the daily operations of the Infant Toddler 1‑3 Program. Additionally, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at our Abbotsford Campus! We are looking for a dependable, enthusiastic, and warm‑hearted person who is passionate about working with children.

As a Senior Educator/Manager for our Foundations 1 – Early Learners OR Foundations 2 – Explorers Clas (Infant Toddler Class) at The Learning Circle, you will oversee and manage the daily operations of the classroom for children aged 1‑3, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment that fosters the growth and development of young children. You will work collaboratively with other team members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Job Title: Infant Toddler Classroom Manager

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Regular/Temporary: Regular

Hours:
Varies within the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm

Wage:
Ranges between $22 per hour and $24 per hour, depending on certification and experience.
Please note that this range excludes the $4 BC Wage Enhancement, which will be received
by candidates for each hour worked.

• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and
  well‑being of children.
• Provide staff meetings and professional development opportunities for the team.
• Yoga experience or knowledge is an asset.
• Knowledge of French, Spanish, and Sign Language is an asset.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Early Childhood Educator and Infant Toddler License.
• Valid Emergency Childcare First Aid certificate that meets the requirements
  of BC childcare license regulations.
• 1–3 years of experience as an Infant Toddler Teacher.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator.
• Managing staff and computer skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Passion for teaching children.
