Job summary

Echo NDE seeks a Senior Eddy Current Analyst to lead ECT data analysis, interpretation, and reporting for North American projects. You will mentor technicians, collaborate with field teams, and ensure high-quality, compliant results while supporting travel to field sites as needed.

The role requires deep ECT expertise, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects with a focus on safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Eddy Current Testing (ECT) experience.
• CGSB ET2 certification or equivalent qualification.
• Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex ECT data per codes and specs.
• Strong knowledge of ECT principles, techniques, and data analysis methods.
• Proficiency with Periscope and related ECT analysis software.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, and validating detailed inspection reports and docs.
• Experience mentoring ECT technicians and other inspection staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead review, analysis, and interpretation of complex ECT data.
• Use Periscope to evaluate signals and identify indications.
• Apply ECT methods to characterize defects and assess acceptance criteria.
• Perform quality reviews and determine data needs for further work.
• Provide guidance to Eddy Current Technicians and project personnel.
