Job summary

Crown Lift Trucks is seeking a Senior Door & Dock Technician in Windsor, Ontario. The role involves installing, servicing, and repairing commercial overhead doors, dock levelers, restraints, and related equipment with a focus on safe workmanship.

The ideal candidate has a High school diploma, a valid Ontario driver’s license, and 5–10 years of hands-on dock/door experience. You’ll lead on-site work, mentor apprentices, and coordinate with customers and branches.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 5–10 years hands-on experience with dock & door systems preferred.
• Knowledge of springs, cables, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read hydraulic/electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, repair and maintain door and dock systems.
• Lead on-site work and mentor apprentices.
• Coordinate service with customers and branches.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Complete paperwork and manage inventory.
• Follow safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
