Job summary

National Bank seeks a senior leader to guide the Credit Execution function within the Technology & Innovation Banking group. You will manage diverse financing relations, oversee the full credit process, and ensure high-quality submissions for risk adjudication, collaborating with internal partners across risk, syndication, and operations.

You will mentor junior staff, participate in strategy development, and help design financing solutions aligned with growth objectives for technology clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with complex commercial lending and acquisition financing.
• Experience in syndicated financing and understanding of capital markets debt instruments.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of financing relationships with technology companies, ensuring strong credit quality and adherence to policies.
• Perform monthly credit reviews and prepare reporting for leadership.
• Oversee full credit execution process including covenant monitoring, structuring, amendments, and refinancing.
• Review loan documents to ensure compliance with credit parameters and prepare submissions for adjudication.
• Coordinate with Credit Risk, Risk Management Solutions, and Operations to ensure effective credit controls.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to sector-specific credit strategies.
