This is a hybrid position (4 days a week in office from one of our office locations below and 1 day a week remote).

This opportunity can be based out of either Office Location below:

  • Brampton location @ 1 Presidents Choice Cir, Brampton, ON L6Y 5S5 (near hwy. 407 and Mississauga Rd)
  • North York location @ 243 Consumers Rd, North York, ON M2J 4W8 (near hwy. 404 and hwy. 401)

Lifemark Health Group (LHG) is a market leader in customized healthcare solutions. With over 20 years of service excellence, LHG is one of the largest, most trusted, and most comprehensive providers in Canada. As a national healthcare company, LHG employs over 5,000 highly trained clinicians, medical experts and team members in almost 400 locations coast-to-coast and continues to grow both organically as well as through acquisitions. With that growth, is a vision to be the most innovative healthcare providers in community rehabilitation, workplace health and wellness and medical assessment services. Lifemark was acquired by Loblaw Companies on May 10, 2022.

About the role

As a senior technology and product leader, you will own the strategy, investment portfolio, architecture alignment and evolution of Lifemark’s Product & Platform ecosystem. You will translate business strategy into a multi-year product and platform roadmap that connects referral management, clinical operations, affiliate and customer partners, patients, and enterprise capabilities across Lifemark’s national care network.

The role is accountable for maximizing the value of Lifemark’s proprietary and third-party platforms, and integrated partner capabilities. You will lead the Product Management organization and work closely with Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Data & Analytics, Security and business leaders to ensure the ecosystem evolves as an integrated, modular platform rather than a collection of independently managed systems.

A key mandate is to establish a modular enterprise architecture that enables Lifemark to reuse common capabilities across products and businesses, integrate acquisitions more efficiently, and selectively build, buy or partner for new functionality. This includes defining clear platform boundaries, shared services, APIs, integration patterns, enterprise data models and reusable components that allow experiences and capabilities to evolve without requiring replacement of core systems.

Success will be measured through improved patient access, clinician productivity, clinic operational efficiency, referral performance, acquisition scalability, technology reuse and return on technology investment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product & Platform Strategy: Own the multi-year strategy and roadmap for Lifemark’s integrated Product & Platform ecosystem, aligned to enterprise growth, clinical and operational priorities.
  • Enterprise Architecture & Platform Evolution: Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Engineering to define the target-state architecture for the ecosystem, including platform boundaries, shared services, APIs, integration patterns, dataflowsand technology standards.
  • Modular Capability Strategy: Establish a modular approach to product development, identifying common capabilities that can be developed once and reused proprietary platforms, acquisition businesses and future platforms. Examples may include scheduling, identity and access, communications, billing, payments, document management, reporting, patient engagement and workflow services.
  • Build, Buy, Partner & Integrate: Determine where Lifemark should build proprietary capabilities, leverage third‑party solutions, establish strategic partnerships or integrate existing enterprise platforms while preserving control of strategically important systems and data.
  • Portfolio & Investment Management: Prioritize investments across products, platforms and shared capabilities based on business value, strategic fit, architectural alignment, capacity, risk and ROI.
  • High-Performing Product Organization: Build, lead and develop Product Managers, Business Solution Managers and Business Systems Analysts and establish consistent product‑management disciplines across the organization.
  • Business Outcomes: Establish measurable product outcomes and ensure roadmap investments deliver improvements in clinician productivity, patient experience, referral performance, operational efficiency and network scalability.
  • Product Discovery & Customer Insight: Establish continuous feedback loops with end users and enterprise stakeholders; use research, analytics and experimentation to inform priorities.
  • Cross-Product Experience & Interoperability: Ensure workflows operate seamlessly across systems, reducing duplicate capabilities, manual hand‑offs and fragmented user experiences.
  • Enterprise Data & Analytics: Partner with Data & Analytics and Architecture to ensure products contribute to a common enterprise data foundation that enables network‑wide operational visibility, advancedanalyticsand future AI capabilities.
  • Delivery Partnership: Partner with Engineering and Architecture leaders to translate product strategy into executable plans while balancing modernization, new capabilities, technical debt, platform health and delivery capacity.
  • AI & Automation: Identify, prioritize and scale AI-enabled and automated capabilities that deliver measurable improvements in clinical workflows, operational efficiency and decision‑making.
  • Vendor & Strategic Partnerships: Own product‑level strategy and value realization for third‑party technology partners, ensuring vendor roadmaps and architectures align with Lifemark’s target‑state ecosystem.
  • Financial Management: Own product and platform budgets, business cases, investment approvals and benefit realization.
  • Risk, Privacy & Compliance: Ensure products, integrations and shared platform capabilities meet healthcare privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory and enterprise risk requirements.
  • Executive Communication & Governance: Provide senior leadership with clear visibility into portfolio priorities, architectural decisions, investment trade‑offs, dependencies and business outcomes.
