Job summary

Lifemark Health Group, a national healthcare provider, is seeking a Product Manager, Referral Management to own scheduling and capacity backlog and translate clinic needs into clear requirements. This hybrid role requires collaboration with the Senior Product Manager and Business Systems Analyst across our Brampton or North York offices.

You will drive end-to-end delivery with engineering and design, monitor utilization metrics, and ensure alignment with the referral and care delivery journey

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years in product management, including 1-2 years in a healthcare technology environment.
  • Experience with scheduling, referral, practice management, or other operational healthcare workflow systems.
  • Strong understanding of clinic operations and a track record of driving operational process optimization.
  • Ability to synthesize clinical, operational, and technical inputs into clear, well-scoped requirements.
  • Strong analytical mindset with comfort using data to drive and communicate product impact.
  • Good written and verbal communication, with comfort presenting findings and recommendations to the Senior PM or Director.
  • Experience in Agile product delivery environments.
  • Healthcare, rehabilitation, or multi-site operational experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience with AI-enabled workflows, automation, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day product backlog for scheduling and capacity management, translating priorities set by the Senior Product Manager into clear, well-scoped requirements.
  • Partner closely with the Business Systems Analyst to gather, validate, and refine requirements from clinic operations, scheduling staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Run discovery on scheduling and capacity pain points, combining user conversations, analytics, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support delivery end to end, working with engineering and design to move initiatives from requirements through shipped, adopted functionality.
  • Monitor scheduling and capacity metrics (e.g., utilization, booking lead time, no-show/cancellation impact) and use them to inform prioritization.
  • Help ensure scheduling and capacity solutions align with the broader referral and care delivery journey, flagging dependencies or conflicts with adjacent workstreams early.
  • Contribute to consistent product management practices within the team as part of the broader shift toward a product-led operating model.

Salary Range: $95,000.00 To $115,000.00 Annually

This is a hybrid position (4 days per week in office from 1 of our office locations below and 1 day remote).

This opportunity can be based out of either Office Location below:

  • Brampton location @ 1 Presidents Choice Cir, Brampton, ON L6Y 5S5 (near hwy. 407 and Mississauga Rd)
  • North York location @ 243 Consumers Rd, North York, ON M2J 4W8 (near hwy. 404 and hwy. 401)

As part of Lifemark's Technology & Analytics transformation, we are building a modern product management function focused on enabling operational excellence, scalable growth, and exceptional clinician and patient experiences through technology-enabled workflows and platforms.

The Product Manager, Referral Management will focus on core capabilities within the referral management platform, including intake, scheduling, and capacity management among other areas, ensuring the system matches incoming referrals to available clinician capacity and keeps the clinician and patient experience moving smoothly from intake through booking. Reporting to the Director, Products and Platforms, you will work collaboratively within the same squad as the Senior Product Manager, Referral Management, and the Business Systems Analyst supporting this area, partnering closely with both on requirements gathering, and execution to translate the broader referral management and orchestration strategy into shippable, adopted functionality.
