Who is Native Shoes looking for?
We’re looking for a Senior Director, Marketing & Brand to lead the charge. This is a pivotal role for a visionary marketer who’s equal parts strategist, storyteller, and team builder. You’ll guide the direction of our brand, bring bold ideas to life, and deepen the emotional connection we have with our customers—while empowering a passionate team and partnering across the business to drive meaningful impact.
This leadership role will manage a team of three direct reports, including an Associate Creative Director, Senior Manager of Marketing and Senior Manager of Partnerships. Reporting into these three leaders are an additional three full-time employees and various freelance talent, as needed.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Senior Director will be instrumental in translating seasonal product narratives and omnichannel sales goals into strategic, actionable marketing plans. This role requires strong collaboration with Product and Sales to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution that resonates with consumers and drives commercial results. Solutions-oriented and channel-savvy, this individual excels at creating energy, building awareness, and delivering measurable ROI across multiple marketing platforms.
What would I be responsible for?
- Lead brand strategy development to position the company for growth across wholesale, eCommerce, and retail channels, ensuring alignment with business goals and consumer insights.
- Oversee an integrated marketing calendar, ensuring brand consistency while crafting compelling stories that captivate and inspire.
- Lead go-to-market planning for product launches and seasonal sell-in, partnering closely with cross functional partners on forecasts, positioning, and pricing.
- Drive growth in brand affinity through innovative marketing initiatives that deepen our emotional connection with customers.
- Deliver campaign excellence from ideation to execution, ensuring consistency, quality, and impact.
- Analyze performance post-campaign, collaborating with channel owners to provide insightful takeaways
- Own marketing budget and performance reporting, ensuring effective allocation of resources and ROI-driven decision-making.
- Inspire and manage a high-performing marketing team, supporting their development while fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
- Cultivate a team culture of creativity, belonging, and continuous improvement—where ideas are welcomed, voices are heard, and success is shared.
- Continuously improve processes and cross-functional ways of working to drive clarity, efficiency, and cohesion across the organization.

What You Bring
- 15+ years of progressive experience in brand or marketing leadership roles, ideally in consumer goods, retail, or lifestyle brands.
- Experience leading omnichannel brand campaigns with measurable impact.
- A balance of creative vision and business acumen, with a sharp eye for storytelling and strong understanding of financial and commercial levers.
- High attention to detail and organizational rigor, with the ability to manage timelines, priorities, and cross-functional initiatives smoothly.
- Entrepreneurial, process-minded, and results-driven—committed to high standards and continuous learning.
- A big-picture thinker who also sees how the puzzle pieces fit together—and is excited to help others see it too.
Compensation
This role is expected to be compensated between $175,000 - $200,000 base salary. Compensation will vary based on experience and job-related qualifications.
