Job summary

SLC Management is seeking a Senior Director, Investment Execution to lead coordination, governance, and execution of complex investment opportunities for the OCIO. You will coordinate across Investments, Tax, Legal, Risk, Finance, Operations, ALM, and external partners to ensure timely, compliant execution.

The role drives opportunity assessment, legal/tax reviews, operational readiness, funding, and ongoing portfolio monitoring, supporting capital deployment and strategic reporting to

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in institutional investments, asset management, investment operations, or related field.
• Strong understanding of private market investments, including real estate, private credit, and institutional portfolio construction.
• Knowledge of insurance capital frameworks, regulatory requirements, governance processes, and risk management principles.
• Experience partnering across investment, tax, legal, finance, treasury, operational, and risk functions to execute complex initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, influence senior stakeholders, and drive decisions in a complex organizational environment.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end coordination and execution of complex investment opportunities across internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish governance structures, project plans, and decision-making forums to support timely execution.
• Coordinate investment inputs including expected returns, leverage, investment structures, capital requirements, funding timelines.
• Serve as primary liaison across investment teams, business partners, support functions, and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate development of investment recommendations, business cases, and approval materials.
• Gather and synthesize input from multiple stakeholders to address regulatory, capital, operational, and risk considerations.
• Lead coordination of local and global tax reviews for fund investments and strategic transactions.
• Coordinate legal and regulatory reviews of fund documentation and related materials.
• Coordinate risk, capital, and governance reviews with second-line and independent oversight functions.
• Lead operational readiness and onboarding activities for new funds and investment mandates.
• Maintain OCIO investment pipeline and executive reporting for governance bodies.
