Job summary

IMCO in downtown Toronto seeks a senior professional to lead client portfolio strategy and CPM discussions. You will partner with investment teams to identify required analysis, interpret findings, and translate them into actionable client recommendations.

You will support strategic asset allocation reviews, communicate complex topics to executives, and ensure investment content is rigorous, evidence-based, and aligned with client objectives. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in investment management, portfolio strategy, or advisory.
• University degree in business, finance, or economics; graduate degree asset.
• CFA designation required; other relevant designations asset.
• Experience supporting senior decision forums in a multi-client institutional setting.
• Solid understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation, risk concepts.
• Strong writing, editing and presentation skills for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead client portfolio strategy development and synthesize investment implications.
• Support CPM discussions on strategic asset allocation and new strategies.
• Explain investment rationale to client-facing teams and governance bodies.
• Ensure CPM materials are data-driven, clear, and decision-ready.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with reporting, risk, and investment teams.
• Coach contributors to elevate material quality for senior discussions.
• Own CPM agenda and ensure decisions are well-framed with accountable owners.
