Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Dietary Aide to create a welcoming dining experience for older adults. You will deliver tableside orders, reflect residents’ preferences, and maintain a safe dining area with attentive service.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, require a Food Handler Certification (training provided if needed), and collaborate with a caring team to ensure meals are served with warmth and quality.

Qualifications

• Secondary School education or equivalent.
• Food Handler Certification (training provided if not already certified).
• Experience as server or in customer service role.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced setting and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver tableside food and beverage orders promptly and professionally.
• Provide attentive service that reflects residents’ preferences and personal tastes.
• Set up the dining room and clear tables following Chartwell standards.
• Maintain clean and organized area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Wash, dry, and store dishes, and equipment while following all health & safety rules.
