Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to create a warm dining experience for residents and guests. You will take orders, serve with care, and maintain a clean dining environment, contributing to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates will have a secondary school education, a Food Handler Certification, and experience in service roles. This role offers growth opportunities within a supportive, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education or equivalent.
• Food Handler Certification (training provided if not already certified).
• Experience as server or in customer service role.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing for long periods, lifting and carrying heavy items, and handling kitchen tools safely
• Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
