Job summary

RBC Insurance Technology is seeking a Senior DevOps & Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer to drive DevOps, CI/CD, release automation, and QE practices for Salesforce apps.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps platforms such as Flosum and related tools, plus collaboration with development, architecture, QE and business teams to improve automation, quality, and release reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience across DevOps, QE, software engineering, or test automation.
• Hands-on Salesforce development and delivery experience.
• Experience with Flosum or similar Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT).
• Knowledge of Salesforce CI/CD, metadata deployments, source control, environment and release management.
• Designing and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Git and branching strategies.
• Strong QE background with test automation.
• Experience with functional, API, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrating tests and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting across pipelines, environments, deployments, and integrations.
• Understanding Agile/Scrum and modern SDLC.
• Ability to lead complex technical initiatives and provide direction.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute DevOps and QE activities for Salesforce apps.
• Design and optimize Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive deployment and release automation using Flosum or similar tools.
• Manage Salesforce source control, metadata, environments, and releases.
• Build automated quality gates across the CI/CD pipeline.
• Define end-to-end QE and test automation strategies.
• Increase test automation coverage and integrate tests into CI/CD.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual deployment and testing through automation.
• Troubleshoot deployment, pipeline, and integration issues.
• Provide guidance to DevOps, QE, and development teams.
