Job Description

What is the opportunity?

You will be involved in implementing the SOAR (Security Orchestration Automation and Response) platform, integrating it with new products, transitioning from old to new systems, and resolving integration issues and critical problems. You will proactively identify issues and lead challenging tasks, working with advanced security technologies to automate and improve security operations.

What will you do?

1. Integrate and configure automations on the SOAR platform, leading technical implementations.
2. Translate complex business requirements into best practice automation solutions and document them.
3. Design solutions, develop code, conduct testing, create documentation, and facilitate deployment.
4. Troubleshoot environment and application issues independently, performing root cause analysis.
5. Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including during crisis situations, and interact with security and IT technologies.
6. Recommend and automate processes to improve operational efficiency and system integration.
7. Work independently on non-routine tasks while collaborating with the team.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, and Bash scripting.
• Strong understanding of security tools like Firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, EDR, XDR.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards and testing.
• Experience automating workflows related to IT security concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions for automation and deployment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Lucid/Gliffy, Jira, Confluence.

Nice to Have:

• Master’s degree or 3-year diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Support experience with the SOAR platform.
• Certifications from ISC2, CompTIA, or similar organizations.
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Experience with SRE practices and monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift.
