As a Senior DevOps Developer in our Cloud DevOps team, you will design and support platforms for TELUS’ Optik TV services, video, broadband, smart home, and SD-WAN solutions. You will be involved in developing microservice architectures, working with cloud-native technologies, and participating in large-scale Agile projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and support cloud-based platforms and features.
• Develop microservice architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, and set up monitoring and alerting.
• Ensure operational excellence through processes and proactive observations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in software development and DevOps.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools.
• Proficiency in backend and API development with Java, Node.js, Go, or Python.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and operational best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

Preferred Skills & Abilities

• Experience with site reliability engineering, multi-cloud architectures, and video delivery systems.
• Knowledge of security, content encryption, and mobile/front-end development.
