Overview
At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

The Cloud Centre of Excellence is responsible for delivering modern cloud services, applications, and managed services supporting both our internal workforce and client delivery teams. The CCoE DevOps Developer will play a key role in automating DevOps processes across various platforms and solutions.

Your responsibilities will include experimenting with and evaluating emerging technologies, creating prototypes, and developing proof of concepts in collaboration with our business partners. You will contribute to developing core assets and assist the business in adopting the platform for various functions and client-facing applications.

This position is remote-friendly.

What You Will Do
  1. Design, develop, test, and deploy core DevOps assets, including tools, applications, and services.
  2. Implement and oversee monitoring, alerting, and dashboard solutions related to the platform, working with the ITS OPS team to define operational and support requirements.
  3. Focus on DevOps for modern web applications and cloud services.
  4. Innovate and experiment with modern cloud-native DevOps stacks, creating proofs of concept.
  5. Guide and instruct business teams on platform adoption and document technical solutions as needed.
  6. Ensure operational excellence, security, and compliance by collaborating with security, OPS, and architecture teams.
What You Bring To The Role
  1. A degree in computer science or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with DevOps CI/CD, including:
  • Automating builds, releases, and pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TravisCI, Azure DevOps).
  • Infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with cloud native applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Designing scalable multi-tier cloud architectures, familiarity with Serverless, Kubernetes, and open-source technologies.
  • Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, security tools, and monitoring.
  • Experience with Git and source code management.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Strategic and innovative thinking.
  • KPMG BC Region Pay Range

    The expected base salary range is $73,000 to $109,500, potentially including bonuses. Salary is determined based on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers comprehensive benefits and rewards.
