Job summary

Banque Nationale du Canada in Montreal is seeking a Senior AI Engineering Developer on the AI Factory team to lead end-to-end development of AI applications, including front-end, back-end, and data ingestion.

You will design and deploy cloud solutions on AWS, build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, and ensure production reliability with Datadog and Splunk, while collaborating across a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in software development and 1–2 years in AI solutions.
• Master React, Python, Elixir and Terraform.
• Experience with AWS services including S3, OpenSearch, EKS, EC2 and Lambda.
• Experience with ongoing integration and deployment using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Familiar with monitoring tools Datadog and Splunk.

Responsibilities

A career as a Senior AI Engineering Developer on the AI Factory team at National Bank means playing a key role in the end-to-end development of artificial intelligence applications. including the front-end and back-end and the data ingestion mechanism. This position allows you to have a positive impact on our organisation thanks to your expertise in software development, deployment automation and cloud solutions.

• Develop the front-end and back-end of artificial intelligence applications, including react, Python, Elixir and Terraform.
• Design and implement the data ingestion mechanisms needed by applications.
• Support and reliability of applications in production in an end-to-end approach.
• Create and maintain CI/DC pipelines with GitHub Equity and ArgoCD.
• Deploy cloud solutions for AWS services, such as rock, S3, OpenSearch, EKS, EC2 and Lambda
• Implement the monitoring and alerts required for application performance with Datadog and Splunk.

• Experience in ongoing integration and deployment with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Be familiar with monitoring tools such as Datadog and Splunk.
