Job summary

National Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior AI Scientist to join the AI Factory team. You will evaluate, optimise and monitor AI models, including generative AI, fine-tune models, design prompts, and implement production monitoring in a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with analysts and developers to deploy solutions on AWS, automate infrastructure with Terraform, and contribute to AI best practices while training team members. Fluency in French and English is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, artificial intelligence or a related field.

Responsibilities

Job description

A career as a Senior Artificial Intelligence (AI) Scientist on the AI Factory team at National Bank means playing a key role in evaluating, optimising and monitoring the performance of AI models, including generative AI models. With your expertise in fine-tuning, prompt engineering and monitoring, you will directly contribute to the quality, robustness and impact of AI solutions deployed at the Bank.

Your job

Prerequisites

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, artificial intelligence or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science or AI model development.
• Proficiency in Python and AI libraries.
• Experience with Terraform and cloud environments, including AWS.
• Experience implementing AI solutions
• experience with model evaluation tools such as DeepEval.

Languages: French, English
