Job summary

NTT DATA, Halifax, Nova Scotia, seeks a seasoned Delivery Manager and Application Architect to lead end-to-end software delivery, product engineering initiatives, and architectural governance for cloud-hosted, AI-driven enterprise applications.

This hybrid leadership role combines delivery management with hands-on application architecture, guiding business discovery through SIT/UAT, deployment and operational support across client engagements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software development, delivery management, and architecture.
• 4+ years as Application Architect or equivalent for cloud-hosted apps.
• 10+ years project planning, execution, governance, and operational management.
• 8+ years client communication, stakeholder management, executive reporting, and presentation skills.
• 5+ years experience managing production environments, application support, and operational governance.
• 2+ years proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and AI/ML services.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of software products, enhancements, and transformation programs.
• Manage project plans, delivery schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks and escalation.
• Ensure delivery within scope, quality, budget and timelines.
• Drive Agile delivery practices, release planning and program governance.
• Provide regular status updates, executive reporting and stakeholder communication to leadership and clients.
• Support proposal creation, solutioning, effort estimation and RFP response activities.
• Analyze and design scalable, cloud-hosted applications and AI-enabled business solutions.
• Develop architectural blueprints, technical specs and roadmaps for cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Provide architecture governance across product engineering and delivery programs.
• Lead technology selection and integration decisions to enhance capabilities and scalability.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and delivery strategies.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and release management practices.
• Collaborate with QA and engineering during SIT/UAT, troubleshooting issues.
• Document findings and support client readiness for production deployment.
• Conduct stakeholder training and develop architectural/user documentation.
• Finalize architectural documentation and ensure accurate client handover.
