Job description

NTT DATA's Client is seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for leading high-priority, multi-cloud AI initiatives, focusing on the operationalization and enhancement of the AI Foundry. You will manage diverse workstreams involving research, Proof of Concepts (POCs), prototyping, and platform enablement across Azure and GCP environments. This role requires a hands‑on leader capable of navigating agile delivery in a resource‑constrained environment while managing complex vendor handshakes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end management of the project lifecycle, including meticulous scoping, scheduling, risk management, and change analysis.
• Transition AI prototypes (such as SIU information extraction or medical record analysis) into production‑ready applications.
• Oversee platform enablement on Microsoft Azure and support the procurement and integration of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for a multi‑cloud strategy.
• Coordinate with multiple vendors (e.g., Client, NTT, Converge Technology) to ensure seamless delivery of development and QA workstreams.
• Lead and mentor junior offshore development leads and functional teams, providing guidance on technical designing and task execution.
• Manage project budgets and clarity records, ensuring alignment between approved funding and project timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years Agile Expertise: Proven experience in agile delivery, specifically for research‑heavy or POC‑driven technical projects.
• AI/Cloud Literacy: Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services; familiarity with AI operationalization (LLMs, agents, or automated design/review agents) is highly preferred.
• Technical Versatility: Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical design in the absence of dedicated architects or Client.
• Exceptional "handshake" skills to manage collaboration between internal teams and external vendor PMs.

Project Specifics

• AI Foundry Build: The "Lion's Share" of the role, focusing on platform foundation and enterprise‑wide AI transformations.
• Benefit Assist: Management of a major AI assistant project involving external development partners.
• Enabled SDLC: Integration of AI agents (Design, Review, and Development agents) into every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle.
