Job Summary

As an Oracle Fusion Senior Database Engineer, you will be responsible for administering, managing, and optimizing Oracle Fusion Integration Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Oracle environments to support business operations and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Administer, manage, and support Oracle Fusion, Oracle Integration Cloud, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Perform database administration tasks including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of Oracle databases.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Implement and manage database security policies, user access, and permissions.
• Facilitate database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, providing 24/7 support as needed.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of database environments to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies, features, and trends.
• Assist in designing Oracle custom reporting and support data ingestion and extraction for integration with third-party systems.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, focusing on Oracle Fusion Middleware.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and backup/recovery processes.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager and monitoring tools.
• Experience with creation, maintenance, and configuration of run books related to Oracle schemas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle certification(s) such as OCP.
