Job summary

Jobgether SRL is partnering to hire a Senior Data Scientist based in Canada. You will build and deploy ML/LLM solutions at scale, collaborating with clinicians, product teams, and data engineers to translate data into measurable healthcare outcomes.

You will design experiments, develop analytics frameworks, and ensure models are reliable and trusted by users, with a focus on NLP, explainability, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience building ML systems in production at scale.
• 1+ year of experience developing and tuning LLM systems.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with data cleaning and pipeline building.
• Solid software engineering foundations with maintainable, scalable code.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate findings into solutions.
• Healthcare data or hospital operations experience is a plus.
• Experience with Databricks, AWS, and dbt is a plus.
• Master's degree or equivalent in CS/Statistics or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain ML models at scale, including NLP and explainable AI.
• Develop and operationalize LLM-based systems with rigorous evaluation methods.
• Evaluate modeling approaches and drive continuous ML/LLM improvements.
• Design experiments and analytics frameworks to measure real-world impact in healthcare.
• Perform data engineering: cleaning, transformation, and pipelines using Python/SQL.
• Collaborate with clinicians, product teams, and data engineers to productionize models.
• Communicate findings and model performance to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
