Qualifications

• Strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and experimental reasoning.
• Experience with Python and common ML libraries.
• Ability to work independently on ambiguous problems and define questions.
• Good understanding of model validation, bias/variance, and generalization.
• Ability to communicate results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Solve open-ended scientific and ML problems from imperfect datasets.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve ML, signal processing, and statistical models.
• Perform feature engineering, model selection, validation, and error analysis.
• Diagnose production performance, failures, and distribution shifts.
• Translate observations into experiments and data-collection strategies.
