Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Product Manager in Toronto to steer data product strategy and roadmaps for International Banking. You will define vision, own backlogs, and collaborate with Analytics, Risk, Finance, and country teams to deliver governance-driven data solutions on Harbour (Azure Databricks).

You will lead a small team of Data Product Managers and coach them to achieve measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred or equivalent experience.
5+ years in data products, data management, or analytics with leadership exposure.
Experience launching and scaling data products with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Define product vision, strategy and outcome-based roadmaps for data products.
Prioritize backlogs balancing business value, regulatory commitments, and technical debt.
Engage stakeholders to translate needs into requirements, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Define KPIs for data products and track value realization post-release.
Lead governance and architecture collaboration to ensure compliant, scalable data solutions.
Oversee migration of legacy workloads to Harbour and Azure-based platforms.
Coach and develop a team of Data Product Managers/Product Owners.
