Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Toronto to lead the design and delivery of enterprise data management capabilities, building secure, scalable web apps, APIs, and microservices. You will mentor engineers, promote engineering excellence, and collaborate across product, governance, and security teams to translate data outcomes into pragmatic roadmaps.

5+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale, production-grade full-stack applications and distributed systems.
Advanced Java development skills with Spring Boot, design patterns, concurrency, performance optimization, and automated testing.
Strong frontend experience with React or Angular, TypeScript, modern state-management and responsive design.

Responsibilities

Own the technical design and delivery of scalable enterprise data management capabilities.
Lead design and implementation of secure, accessible web applications, APIs, microservices, and data-processing services.
Provide technical direction across squads, review designs, resolve engineering challenges, and manage dependencies and risk.
