Job summary

Definity Financial Corporation’s Enterprise Data Office seeks a data governance professional to advise business units and manage governance artifacts, data catalog, metadata, and data quality initiatives.

You will support cross‑functional forums, intake processes for governance artifacts, prioritize remediation, and track issue resolution while collaborating with data owners and stewards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Data Governance, Metadata Management, BI or Data Analysis in insurance/financial services.
• Experience with Data Lineage, Data Cataloging and Data Policy implementation.
• Capture and document complex business and functional requirements.
• Exposure to data governance tools and Big Data ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cross-functional forums to implement governance initiatives.
• Support data intake for governance artifacts and document inputs from stakeholders.
• Assess governance needs and help prioritize remediation activities.
• Manage data change, issue management and escalation processes.
• Develop strategies with stakeholders and share progress updates.
