Job summary

Desjardins Group is seeking a data governance senior advisor to help define and implement data management processes ensuring compliant, secure data usage for members and clients. You will lead stakeholders, develop governance foundations, and coach decision bodies across a range of complex initiatives.

You will influence teams by applying best practices, coordinating governance needs, and monitoring performance to raise data maturity across the sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• A minimum of six years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of French is required.

Responsibilities

• Help data producers and users understand how to valorize data for the benefit of members and clients, in keeping with sound data governance.
• Serve as a specialist advisor to teams in developing and applying data management processes and controls.
• Develop, operationalize and improve standards, processes, tools and best practices related to data governance foundations.
• Coordinate identification of the sector's data governance needs and opportunities.
